KAST Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This policy explains how the KAST website uses cookies and browser storage. The public website asks visitors to allow or decline before optional cookies or browser storage are used.
1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are
Cookies are small files that a website can ask a browser to remember. Browser storage, such as local storage, can also remember limited website information on the visitor's device. These tools can help remember preferences or make a website work more smoothly.
2. Current Use on the Public Website
The public KAST website currently uses browser storage only for limited purposes:
- To remember that a visitor selected "Allow" for cookie and browser-storage use.
- To save preview enquiry submissions in the visitor's browser when storage has been allowed.
The current public website does not set advertising cookies, behavioural marketing cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
3. Allow or Decline
When a visitor enters the public website, KAST asks whether to allow cookies. If the visitor selects "Allow", the website may save the consent choice and may save optional preview enquiry details in that browser.
If the visitor selects "Decline", the website clears KAST-owned optional browser storage and does not save optional cookies or preview enquiry submissions. Because KAST does not save a persistent decline marker, the visitor may see the prompt again after refreshing or visiting another page.
4. Essential Website Operation
Some basic technical processing may happen simply to deliver the page, such as the browser requesting files from the server. KAST will not use optional browser storage for preferences, preview submissions, analytics, or marketing unless the visitor allows it.
5. If Analytics or Marketing Tools Are Added
If KAST later adds analytics, advertising, retargeting, chat, embedded media, or other tracking tools, this policy should be updated to explain what is collected, who receives it, why it is used, and how visitors can manage their choices.
6. Managing Cookies
Visitors can also block or delete cookies and browser storage through their browser settings. Deleting browser storage may remove a saved "Allow" choice and any preview enquiry submissions saved in that browser.
7. Related Policies
Personal information is covered in the Privacy Policy. Website use is covered in the Terms of Service.
8. Updates and Contact
KAST may update this policy if the website, cookies, browser storage, analytics, marketing tools, or legal requirements change. Cookie questions should be sent through the official KAST contact channel or enquiry form.
